The Kids Patriotic Parade will kick off Meeker’s 3rd of July Celebration on 2026-07-03 at Meeker Lake Circle Drive. Lineup begins at 6:15 PM and the parade starts at 7:00 PM. Children are invited to decorate and ride bikes, scooters, wagons, Power Wheels, and more. No registration is required. Parents are encouraged to walk with younger children during the parade route. The event helps open the Meeker 3rd of July Celebration.

Bucks and Bass Bait Shop will host a Kids Fishing Tournament at Meeker Lake on 2026-07-03 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The event is open to ages 5 through 18 and costs $10 per child. Winners in each age group will be announced in the evening. Participants should register at the bait shop by 2026-07-02 at 115 W Carl Hubbell Blvd. Please note there will be no parking on the dock ramp due to night events, and golf carts will be available to take attendees back to their vehicles.

Join the Meeker High School Bi-Centennial Class of 1976 for its 50-year reunion on Saturday, 2026-07-18 at 6:00 PM at Michael Gautier’s house, 346380 E 1060 Road in Meeker. Cost is $15.00 each and dress is casual. Classmates from 1975 and 1977 are also welcome to attend but should RSVP. Food will include pulled pork sandwiches with sides, walking tacos, and desserts. Meeker Pumpkin Festival returns for a two-day celebration on Friday, 2026-10-09 and Saturday, 2026-10-10 in Meeker, OK. Friday events include the Grand Parade at 6:00 PM in Downtown Meeker, followed by a Street Dance & Community Gathering in Town Square. Vendors will also be open in the evening. Saturday includes the Parade of Pumpkins 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, starting near Veteran Drive and ending near the high school.
